The reporter recently learnt from the organizing committee that the Third Sichuan Agricultural Fair and the Chengdu International Urban Modern Agricultural Expo(hereinafter referred to as“Agriculture Fair”)will be held at Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center from 19 to 23 this November.

The Agriculture Fair is themed on“the full opening and cooperation in the development of modern agriculture”and its exhibition center covers 100,000 square meters.The center consists of the main hall for new agriculture operation,agricultural cooperation hall,tea industry cooperation hall,urban modern agriculture hall,country tourism&culture hall,brand foods hall and modern agricultural technology hall.The exposition aims to stress the roles of specialization,market orientation and internationalization,to enhance the exchanges and cooperation in the complete industry of agriculture,to promote the upgrading and betterment of Agriculture Fair and the fulfillment of innovated development.

Some events of great influences and effects are finely designed in conjunction with exhibition-based marketing and in accordance with the principles of“improved grades,enhanced effects,controlled scale and saved expenditures”,such as the introduction to agricultural investment&promotion programs and the agreement signing,the purchasers conference and signing on the agricultural products trade,and the 5th international agricultural insurance forum.

The 3rd Agriculture Fair which was“born out of”Western China International Fair(WCIF)absorbs effective experience of WCIF and aims to expand international cooperation and to toughen cooperation and exchanges through the exposition.It will establish the systems of theme country and theme municipality,which are in the charge of Thailand and Ya’an of Sichuan,respectively.

It is worth noting that during this Agriculture Fair,the 2nd summit forum on the development of leading enterprises of agricultural industrialization and the industry-finance integration for modern agricultural programs will be held.The forum will focus on these heated key questions for those leading enterprises of agricultural industrialization,such as business pattern innovation,M&A of the leading enterprises,the integration of industry chain,and transfer of international modern agricultural technologies;it will facilitate the deep integration of modern agriculture&finance capitals and the advanced technologies;it will change the way of agricultural development,adjust the industry structure and boosts the industry interaction and upgrading.The 2015 industry-finance integration for modern agricultural programs will also be held to fulfill the industry-finance integration of modern agriculture.

Apart from these above,this Agriculture Fair also plans some dedicated activities with clear themes,rich content,various forms and practical effects.

One example is the 3rd forum on development of recreative agriculture and rural tourism.The forum will invite agriculture experts and enterprises of recreative agriculture and rural tourism to jointly discuss the status of the development,the innovated path of development and the future developmental trends.This will facilitate the province-wide growth of those enterprises of recreative agriculture and rural tourism in groups as well as the industry upgrading.

In addition,the 3rd summit forum on China(western)intelligent agriculture application and development and the conference on introducing and discussing Chengdu urban modern agriculture investment will be held.
