The 3rd Sichuan Agricultural Expo&Chengdu International Urban Modern Agricultural Expo(the Agricultural Expo)will be held in Chengdu from November 19th 2015 to 23rd.This Agricultural Expo,held by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government,is supported by the Office of Central Rural Work Leading Group,Ministry of Agriculture,All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce,General Agency of the National Supply and Marketing Cooperative and United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization,and undertaken by the Agriculture and Industry Committee of the Provincial Party Community,Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs,Chengdu Municipal People’s Government,Sichuan Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau,Agriculture Department,Commerce Department,Taiwan Affairs Office of the Sichuan Provincial Party Community,Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce.The planned expo area is 100,000 m2,which will be used to hold the Forum and Opening Ceremony of Free and Collaborative Development of the Modern Agriculture Industry,Campaign and Signing Ceremony for Agriculture Investment Projects,Buyers Conference and Signing Ceremony for Agricultural Products and Trading,Fifth International Agriculture Insurance Forum,Second Agricultural Industrialization Leading Enterprises Development Summit Forum&Modern Agriculture Projects and Investment Conference,Third Forum on the Development of the Leisure Agriculture Industry and Village Tourism,Third Western China Summit Forum on Smart Agricultural Applications and Development and Chengdu Modern Agriculture Investment Campaign and Fair etc..

The 3rd Sichuan Agricultural Expo&Chengdu International Urban Modern Agricultural Expo,with a theme of full openness and cooperation to the development of modern agriculture,aims to establish a new platform for open agriculture to promote agricultural investment and drive significant projects to land in Sichuan.Holding the Agricultural Expo is of important significance to strengthen international and domestic competitiveness of Sichuan agriculture,increase the levels of agricultural openness and cooperation and promote agricultural modernization development.
